Spring Bling

Report taken from Accuweather.com:
Across New England and New York, not including New York City, snow showers will diminish this evening. According to our Winter Weather Center, only flurries will fly over Boston this morning, while an additional 1 to 3 inches of snow, with more on the west-facing slopes, accumulates over the Green and White Mountains of northern New England through the evening hours.
Snow showers will quickly return to the Northeast Monday into Monday night as an Alberta Clipper’s cold front treks through. Since the clipper itself will stay north of the Canadian border, milder air being drawn into the region will allow an area of rain showers mixing with the snow to be sandwiched in between snow accumulating up to several inches over northern New England and some rain showers over the mid-Atlantic states.
The official start to spring, 8:07 p.m. EDT Tuesday, will be ushered in with chilly air still over the Northeast, thanks to a cold dome of high pressure following the Alberta Clipper’s cold front. After another cold day Wednesday, this workweek will end different than last week. A building ridge of high pressure will nicely warm temperatures Thursday and Friday.

The Patrycja Diaries: Jay Peak, March 17

Editors note: After Patti had skillfully slashed through the glades, she paused for a moment to take a breathe and absorb this magnificent day. Quietly gliding through the snow behind her was another rider. At closer inspection it seemed as though she was watching herself ride through the trees, graceful yet powerful. Was this a dream? Who is that? Unbeknowst to Patti, it was her evil twin. Pamela or in Polish, Pamacek. As Pamela dug her heel side approach, something was very wrong. They wore different goggles and Pamela spoke perfect English.
Action adventure correspondent Patrycja reports on the Jay Peak experience after the most recent epic storm of the season:
“same stylist on the Mtn.? Hmmm, what are the odds of finding someone dressed in same color combination , it proofs it happens during big dump days in VT……..”
I love big dump days. . . According to Patti, Jay received about 3ft of dump that day – Champagne powder with that float that makes you tingle. Who wants to get dumped on? I DO!!!
